Huntersville Location Open

Polished Nail Bar, Charlotte’s premier mani/pedi provider, has opened in Huntersville in Northcross Commons at 9121 Sam Furr Road.

“This is our fifth Polished, but it’s our first outside of Charlotte,” said co-owner Sonny Kim. “Residents who live near the lake have been begging us for years to open a location closer to their homes. The right opportunity finally presented itself.”

The hours at Northcross Commons are Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m., and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

“With each new Polished, we challenge ourselves to provide a clean, healthy, and inviting environment for our clients and our staff,” said Kim. “We have the best customers and we want to give them the best.”

Among the features at Polished Nail Bar in Northcross Commons:

• State-of-the-art air filtration/exchange system to keep air fresh and clean for clients and staff.
• State-of-the-art water filtration system that removes all traces of chlorine, minerals and odors, making salon services more organic and treatments more effective.
• Luxury pedicure thrones.
• State-of-the-art manicure spots around manicure bar.
• A grand bar area to accommodate parties.

The menu of services includes luxury and express manicures and pedicures, as well as waxing/hair removals, lash extensions, facials, and more.

“We will offer our popular Man-E-Cures for men and the Little Diva menu, specially priced services for girls under age 10,” Kim said.

Gift certificates are available. Complimentary beverages will be served. Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express are accepted. Tips can be made in cash or check only.

Polished Nail Bar owners Kim and wife Haley Tran brought the nail bar concept to Charlotte’s South End in March 2006. They have opened three other locations: Myers Park, next to the Manor Theater; SouthPark, in the Allen Tate Building; and Stonecrest, next to Target. Plans are in place for a sixth location in Charlotte to open in late 2016 at Waverly retail complex at Providence Road and I-485.
